Boris Sapone is the Owner/Head Coach at CrossFit Veni Vidi Vici. Originally from Rome, Italy, he now calls Las Vegas home with his wife, Christina and daughter, Valentina.
Boris has always had a passion for helping people. Driven by that enjoyment for fitness he discovered while in high school competing in football, wrestling, soccer and track. Boris has been a personal trainer since 2007. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science in Kinesiology from UNLV. From humble beginnings, he began teaching group sessions for the City of Henderson’s Parks & Recreation Centers in 2009. Offering a Henderson weight loss challenge class, adult and kids boot camps, strength and endurance and core. He has also established a fitness program for kids with special needs, designed strength and conditioning programs for a local dance studio and hosted fitness and team-building workouts with businesses throughout the Las Vegas valley. Known for his ability to maximize results safely and effectively, he has also trained Miss Nevada’s 2012 “Outstanding Teen” and Miss Nevada 2012, as well as local law enforcement for their qualifying fitness testing. Aside from CrossFit Veni Vidi Vici, he is also the Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Cirque Du Soleil.
Terrance “Ty” Yamasaki is the Brand & Marketing Director and a Coach at CrossFit Veni Vidi Vici. He is also the Affiliate Manager of Veni Vidi Vici’s second location CFVVV East.
Born and raised in Hawaii, on the island of O’ahu, he moved to the mainland when he was 20, living in Southern California (Orange County) for close to 9 years. He, and his son, Talan, now have the distinct pleasure of calling Las Vegas home for the past several years. He has also served 8 years in the United States Army Reserve. Luckily though, he has never been deployed.
In 2014, tired of the traditional “global gym” atmosphere, he found something to spark his competitive nature and spirit, that’s when he found CrossFit and CrossFit Veni Vidi Vici and he has been addicted ever since.
Rosa is the Coaches Development Director and a coach at CrossFit Veni Vidi Vici. She was a stay-at-home mom of 5 for 20 years before starting CrossFit in 2012. Shortly after starting CrossFit, she started running and racing. Doing half marathons, marathons, as well as competing in Spartan Races.
She has been a member of CrossFit Veni Vidi Vici since the doors opened and has been part of the coaching staff since June of 2015. Rosa is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, as well as being CrossFit Football and CrossFit Gymnastics certified. She has worked with children for the past 22 years as a devoted mother, Girl Scout leader, babysitter as well as a volunteer at both the Elementary and Middle School levels.
She is our obstacle course racer and runner. Becoming a high points leader in the 2013 and 2014 Spartan Race Worldwide Elite Points Series, as well as a 2-time Masters Elite Podium winner in 2015. Rosa loves to coach and looks forward to her days in the gym. She believes that anyone can achieve anything they want, they just have to try.
Glen was born in the Philippines and moved to the USA in 1990. When he arrived in the US, he took up residence in Los Angeles before settling in Las Vegas in 1994. Glen has been a police officer with the City of Henderson since 2000 and currently assigned as an investigator.
He was first introduced to crossfit in 2013 and has been hooked ever since. He’s been a part of the CFVVV family since September 2014.
Jackie is Crossfit Veni Vidi Vici’s yoga instructor. Born and raised in Southern California, shemoved to Las Vegas in late 2012 after accepting a job offer. She joined CrossFit in 2013 as a way to find a sense of community in her new city and instantly fell in love with the mental and physical challenges it provided. An athlete for most of her life, Jackie found CrossFit tapped into all aspects of physical training and has been an advocate for the sport ever since.
She is currently a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, 200-hour certified yoga instructor, and certified in Trauma Recovery Yoga. She has coached high school track and field, been a personal trainer and boot camp workout instructor, taught children’s yoga, prenatal yoga, and yoga for private rehabilitation centers. She also holds a Culinary Arts Diploma from Le Cordon Bleu and uses her cooking chops to help others create healthier versions of their favorite foods. Jackie considers herself a full-on wellness junkie who is all about helping others thrive.
